Boundaries
A boundary can be kind and still be firm.
A gentle reminder that healthy limits do not require anger to be real.
A boundary is not a punishment. It is information about what you can participate in, what you need, and what you are no longer willing to carry.
You can care about someone and still say no. You can explain yourself without endlessly defending the decision. You can protect your peace without making the other person your enemy.
The work is often less about becoming harder and more about becoming clear.
This reflection is educational and is not a substitute for professional therapy or crisis support.
